for this task we where asked to choose between seven culture types/eras and research more about them, The culture I chose to research was the Native American (north america) and this is what I found out:



The Time They lived in:

Native Americans or (Indians) as they preferred to be called where indigenous to north america, They composed themselves of tribes throughout the whole of the land. and originated from before the 15th century from when the Europeans colonised, The Europeans created most of the history of the native Indians shortly after their arrival.

·    Important historical events of the time

Their mythologies & religion (gods, monsters, etc.)
The Native Americans where very spiritual people, mostly towards the simple things such as:- weather, plants, animals, earth, water, sky & fire. But there where also about 16 gods/goddesses, They consisted of:-
  Abenaki,
  Algonquian,
  Blackfeet,
  Haida,
  Ho-Chunk,
  Hopi,
  Huron,
  Inuit/Eskimo,
  Iroqiois,
  Kwakiutl, 
  Lakota, 
  Mi'Kmaq, 
  Navajo, Pawnee,
  Salish, 
  Seneca. 

·     Rituals & traditions       

       The Native american people had many Rituals and Traditions, from Land ownership to spiritual Beliefs to their healing and medicine rituals to the Burial rituals to something that's called Hopi Kachinas where someone wearing a spiritual mask is believed to enter the spirit world, they would dance around and are also believed to be the people to understand the Kachinas, Kachinas means "Spirits of the dead"
